My name is Joe, and I am on a journey to lose 100 pounds in 26 weeks.  I am 39 years old and in the worst shape of my life.  I weigh 354 pounds.   But I am changing that.   This is my place online to share my challenges and successes.

Basic site information:

My time line has begun.  Posts will be broken down by week and day.  The first day is W1 D1  for week 1 day 1  and the last day of this journey will be W26 D7.

I exercise using cardio machines before work and weight lift after work.

I pack my breakfast,  lunch, and snacks for the day so I have no reason to wander to a vending machine.  Plus my lunches are leftovers and look like this Salmon, half sweet potato, corn on the cob, broccoli and spinach with garlic instead of a burger and fries.

I will only be drinking water, seltzer, occasional cup of black coffee with planned meals.    Soda/beer and whatever else will be for special occasions and events only.
