Y3W28 Day 6

AM:
2 hour bike ride while my wife jogged

PM:
1.5 hour hike at gulf branch run.

Today was a full day. We both had our vehicles serviced, I had a motor cycle inspected, and we had some good activities twice today.

I am also trying something new with my eating. I have lost my way and have not been able to get back into the groove but I think I have found a way and today was successful. I am going to diet every other day. I started today and kept my calories under 1,500. Tomorrow I will go back to doing what I was doing, and then the next day back to keeping my calories low. On diet days my goal is to eat between 1,200 to 1,600 calories. My regular day I will just keep doing what I was doing. No counting of calories, no guilt. This is something I believe can be sustainable in the long run. I only need to be good every other day. This may not be a huge help, but it will help. I should be good for dropping 2 to 5 pounds a month. Mentally I think this will be easy since I only need to delay eating something I may really want to eat but is bad by 24 hours. I will still enjoy my pasta, some ice cream, some chips, but it will reduce the amount of crap I have been eating by a substantial amount. I looked it up and there are some diet plans out there already with this idea so it is not something new. I can not do any worse than I have been doing.

Today on our hike we saw some woodpeckers and a chipmunk, but the star of the show was a baby black snake with a yellow ring around the head. We have never, ever seen anything like this.
