3 hour hike to see the Cherry Blossoms even though they are not in bloom.
It was quite a walk. We parked at Lady Byrd Johnson park and walked over the bridge the around the Tidal basin. It was a long walk but we did fine. We saw turtles, a hawk, all kinds of regular birds and some Cherry Blossoms. There were a handful of trees that were about 40 to 60% blooming but the vast majority of the trees did not even start yet. Next weekend will probably be the weekend to go and see them. Here is what we saw.
