Y4W18 Day 3

AM:
pedaled as wife tried to jog. She was not able to since her knee hurt.

45 min elliptical machine

PM:
Cat wrangling. I was supposed to go to the gym but my wife was unable to get my kitty into the carrier so I went home and tried for close to a hour. I could not get her.

So today was an exciting day. I have regained my ambition to earn a college degree. I am at a crossroads of sorts. I am looking at completing an Associate’s Degree (2 year degree) since I only need 2 more classes to make that happen. My dilemma is as follows. I have attended 2 different colleges so far and have 90 or 93 credits. I can earn an associate’s degree with as little as 60 credits, but they need to be a certain 60 credits. I can earn an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts if I go back to Centenary (classes online) and take English Lit II (not interested) and Human health and nutrition (I am interested) OR I can take 2 upper management level classes at Park University (local office 4 miles from my house, classes would still be online) and I can earn an Associate of Science in Management. I am neither excited nor disappointed with the management classes and and split with how I feel about the two offered by Centenary. The Liberal Arts degree is less impressive than the Management degree but neither is a WOW degree since they both are 2 year degrees. I could even go crazy and do both, but there is little to gain with the added expense other than to be able to say I have 2 Associate’s Degrees. For the 4 year degree in Management I will need to continue with Park University. If I only take one class per semester it will take close to a year to get the associate’s degree but potentially another 4 years to get the Bachelor’s degree in Management. I might even slack off again after getting the 2 year degree. Who knows. But either way I do plan to start the process soon. The final thing I need to consider is the cost of the classes. This alone may make one doable and exclude the other. tough decisions.
