So today was a semi-busy day. Not to bad. My GOV contact, after 2 years of working there, finally felt comfortable cracking a joke at my expense. I had a computer login issue yesterday that caused some ruckus, and today at lunch the GOV guy asked “Joe, your access card worked today?” Implying I was fired and locked out. This was funny because early on working there my coworker had knocked a plug out of some equipment and caused an outage, I joked with the coworker in from of the GOV guy telling my coworker he was fired. The GOV guy was all worried assuring my coworker he was not fired etc. I had to explain to him that we have been working together for 10 years and joke with each other. The GOV guy was distraught. It is cool he can finally joke some.
