Day 3 of What the Fuck were the engineers thinking? So I am offsite again. I replace all the patch cords and move the fiber connection to different house pairs. Still no worky. I asked questions by email and got no response back. I took my GOV guy to ask a question to get a response. Gov guy directs them to put a “tiger team” together to resolve this since I have done all I could for them. At one point an outside engineer (not with the dummy company on site) made some suggestions for me to Ping different servers to see if I can see it from the inside of the firewall. Sounds great guy, but I am a cabling guy. The company paid to bring this online needs to F*cking engineers on site working this instead of blaming the cabling. IT IS NOT THE CABLING! I saw the project manager while I was trying to get a late lunch. I gave him the look. the look worked, plus I told him they need to have people onsite working an onsite problem. I am amazed this company has not been booted from the GOV site. This is ridiculous. I cant wait to see what tomorrow will bring.
