I made it to my doctor and while parking in the garage I was worried about hitting the column so watching the column I backing up into a wall mounted exhaust fan denting my tailgate. 
I did a pretty good job, I dented it and scratched the paint.
SO the doctor tells me my Achilles is only strained not torn because there would be more discoloration and swelling if torn. So he prescribed a steroid , exercises and in two weeks I can start physical therapy. So all is good there.
so you would think that was all the drama, right? NOPE I got booted! I do not have any parking tickets, or speeding tickets or any other moving violations open so how could this be? Oh that’s right it is for my foot. DUH!
Driving home was interesting. I needed to use my left leg to brake and my right foot does not flex in the boot so I had to press the gas with my whole foot. It took so getting used to but I did not have any other problems so all was good.
