Today was amazing! It snowed…then rained and iced. I still don’t know if I will be working tomorrow or not. At least we enjoyed the day prior to the rain and ice starting.

And of course our kitties being cute!

Christmas party at the neighbors!

Today was a crazy day. I got up with the intentions of going to the gym, but my wife had an event to get to with some work friends so I delayed going to the gym. I ate some breakfast and she left for her event. I watched a little bit of TV then laid down for a nap. I woke up and it was after noon! I guess I really needed the sleep. I missed out on good sleep for the last 2 weeks with the holiday, travel and family staying at my house my sleep pattern was off. I was only getting 5.5 to 6 hours a night. That is OK if I have a catch-up day, but I did not have one.

On to the neighbor’s party! We ate drank and were merry. It was a great night. So good I forgot to do my blog!

I worked all day! There was no rest for the wicked today. I was up on ladders, crawling on the floor and working hard all day. I feel good but really tired. All week I was getting about 6 hours of sleep a night and tonight I am ready for more!

Work today was a solo mission. My coworker is still out for a family emergency so I have been holding down the fort. So far so good. I am having trouble with dry cracking skin at the edge of my thumb and everything I do work-wise puts pressure on the spot. M thumb was bleeding while working off-site yesterday. I bought some crazy glue and that seems to work the best. I tried liquid bandage last year and it is OK on scratches or cuts on flat areas of skin but can’t do squat on pressure areas like my thumb. Dry time of the year.

Today I was off site again but ended up back in the office for a later lunch. I worked hard all day and am ready for a good night of sleep.

Today was a Manassas day. I was able to complete half the project and will need to return tomorrow to complete the rest.

Dinner tonight was chicken, swiss cheese, spinach and asparagus baked into cressant roll dough. Yum!

Today was nothing special nor an adventure.  It was a work day though so I needed to get through it.  I did.  Tomorrow will be an off site day and the day after might be as well. We have company right now so my sleep is off and I really need it.  In a few days I will be catching a nap I am sure.

Travel Day. and what a day. We left early and made good time. We stopped at the last rest stop in Maryland and noticed a cute elderly couple walking arm in arm. I can see the guy does not walk well by his gait. As we walk I see his legs start bending more but he is not moving forward more. I was able to rush up to him and keep his head from hitting the ground. With the help of another kind soul we carry him back to their vehicle and his wife calls 911. He was having a heart attack. We stayed with them until the ambulance arrived They were traveling back to Florida today. Let your loved ones know you love them. You never know what the day brings. He was conscious when medical arrived and they go their within 3 minutes of the call.

Once we got home out kitties were so happy to see us. It was a love fest.

Family get together. Today we ate like pigs!

Black Friday. I slept in and we went chair shopping with my folks. It took all day. No exercise today.
