3 mile walk through neighborhoods while out cars were inspected.

1.3 mile walk in Rock Creek Park

Today we went to look at a truck near where I used to work in DC. I originally ruled out DC and Maryland as places to go but made the exception today. I googled the guy’s number and it was tied to a car place on Georgia Ave so all was good. NOT! The address was an apartment building but the truck was not there. I called the guy and he said he would be there in 10 minutes but 30 minutes later he was a no show. So we went to Rock Creek park and hiked some. Once home I found a listing for a Chevy Tahoe in my town and made an appointment to see it at 10 AM tomorrow morning. The price is Ok and so is the mileage. This is bigger than the Xterra and not as long as the Suburban. It will give us way more usable space than the Xterra.

It is not a bad looking vehicle. It will serve us well for what I want to do with it.

Weird right? I have found many doppelgangers out there. But this one is especially weird. I used to work with this guy in the military. We did not look like each other back then.

I think this is how innocent people can be accused of a crime they did not commit but have witnesses swear they saw they commit the crime.

Today was a great day for lifting. I was worried because I was struggling with the run. Once I hit the weights I was strong with leg presses and benching. I can still feel in in my legs and I did not work out in the afternoon. Tomorrow I will be going off site again to finish what I started the other day. Hope everything will go smoothly.

I worked off site today and worked all day with no lunch. I was did not finish the tasks though because there were more errors on the request. Looks like Friday will be an off site day too. I was beat when I got home and rode the couch. I am still tired and ready for bed. Not all days are winners, and the definition of winning changes regularly too. Oh well.

I had some excitement at the gym this AM. There was a guy doing squats and he had 315 on the bar. He did a personal best not to long ago of 410 or 430 lbs. So in the scheme of things 315 is not that much for him, except he got stuck coming up and was losing the bar off his shoulders and it was going down his back some. He asked for help which I jumped up to do, but how the hell do you help in a situation like that? I grabbed it with a curl grip and duck walked with him so he could re-rack the bar. It scared the shit out me! I was worried he was hurt and that I was about to be as well. Fortunately all is good. He was just losing his grip.

Tomorrow I return to the offsite to work an emergency request then I need to finish the screwed up one from last week. fun, NOT!

After work I went and looked at 2 Nissan Xterra 4x4s. The first one had not even been processed yet and needed some attention. The second one looked like it was just off the showroom floor, but alas it was 1900 above my budget. If I had the money in my pocket I would have broke the budget for it. The search continues. Since my wife would prefer a rooftop tent to sleeping IN the truck I can now look at many other vehicles that I was not considering before. This is great!

To work off all the pie we ate for her birthday and Pi day we went for a 3 mile jog as our morning workout. It wasn’t pretty or easy, but we did it. We even went for a small hike at great falls where the water was crazy at the falls.

Happy Pi (3.1415926) Day!

walked around Leesburg VA in-between the rain. We stopped a cool little restaurant and had kabobs. It was my wifey’s birthday, so what she wanted we got. It was also Pi day and to celebrate we ate pie. Life is good.

Work was easy today, Idid not have to work hard like yesterday. Tomorrow is my wife’s birthday. It is also Pi day. That is the Math kind of Pi, you know the 3.14, the funny thing is Pi is special this year since if you go further with decimal places, tomorrow will be represented by the month, the day and the year! 3.1415 and at 9:26 in the morning Pi will be represented again! 3.1415926! this is crazy. So tomorrow celebrate somewhere and have a piece of pie to celebrate Pi day!

Today was a FAIL at our offsite location. The information was butchered and wrong. I worked a full day skipping lunch and not eating until I got home at 3pm, my workday minus lunch I did not take. I was smart and brought 2 powerbars so I did at least put something in my stomach twice today while on the clock. I can’t wait to see how tomorrow is in the office.
