I ate something that did not agree with me today. I got hit pretty hard around 1:15pm. I had to go to the bathroom urgently and had quite a session. 45 minutes later it happened again. I skipped the gym and had to go as soon as I made it home.

Tomorrow is shaping up to be a busy day. We plan to get out really early to see the cherry blossoms, be at the gardening meeting at 9am then meet at her brother’s house for a passover meal. BUSY!

This truck search has been driving me crazy. I keep finding vehicles with great potential but they fall short, sometimes in a big way. I am continuing the search and adding 100 each week to my savings so eventually I will have a great truck meet my cash amount properly. I have some fantastic ideas with different options to convert different types of vehicles into different camping rigs. Everything from a big full size pickup or suburban, to a medium size truck , down to a compact one. Eventually I will get the right one.

I thought today was the day. It was not. I found a great looking Nissan Xterra 4 blocks from my house. It was in my price range and I caught the listing 2 hours after it was posted! I pulled up and was disappointing the picture did not capture the poor paint condition of the vehicle. The motor sounded good but there was an oil leak. I took it the garage for a checkup and they guy did a quick look over and he told to pass on it. He only charged me $20 to look it over. He was willing to put it on the lift and do a full check of the vehicle but it was obvious this was not the one. Oh well the search continues.

I needed to go to motor vehicle to get my scooter registered. Somehow it expired last year and I missed it. I am blaming the mail service since there is a excessive and documented problem at our post office to the point postal inspectors are involved. Anyway now that is all taken care of I feel better.

Tonight we had the pleasure of sharing a meal with one of my wife’s brothers. They went hiking after work and made it back to the house in time for a some good food. Life is good.

A hike! At Scotts Run. We did almost 4 miles and came across an area we never saw before. Amazing to still find surprises in places we visit regularly.

1 hr 30 min hike at Donaldson Run and overlook park.

I was able to get my motorcycle inspected and found a problem with my scooter. I have expired tags. I went on the motor vehicle site to register on line and found the scooter does not even show as a vehicle I own! All the others are listed. Very strange! I did a VIN and Title number search and nothing. It is like the bike does not exist. I am sure this is going to be fun to deal with at Motor vehicle next week.

I was pumped up for part of the day then extremely tired for other parts of the day. I made it through and skipped the afternoon gym time and settled in bed with the cats a little after 4pm. I woke up at 5:30 pm. I must have been tired!

Work was busy, the weather was warm and I have one more day to go for the weekend! I was feeling really tired on my jog and like I was having a slow one. We ended up being 2 minutes faster. That was why I was feeling so tired and beat!

Y5W9 Day 3

AM:

At work I was on my feel most of the day. I ended work feeling stiff, sore and tired. I did not work out after work. Instead I relaxed with the cats on the couch and watched TV. Tomorrow is supposed to be warm so I might jog in the AM if I feel good. My wife wants to so I might do it for her, unless I am really feeling off.
