We went for a 2 hour hike today!
It was cold out but we bundled up. It was great to out together. We missed each other a lot over the few days we were apart. We did good on the hike with covering a section of the trail we were never on before. We also spent some time watching a canoe go up and down the river. Folks might have thought we were crazy to be out hiking (there were a few other families out doing the same, some with there dogs) and we thought being in a canoe on the cold water was crazy! Funny how that works.

We hiked down along a small water falls area.
Not far from the falls we spotter the largest vein of quartz we have ever seen!
The vein extended up into the cliff side.
This is what it looked like before we headed out for the hike, my sweetie and kitty keeping each other warm.

This car had personalized license plates with the bumper stickers above it for folks to know exactly what the plate meant! This rocked and made my day seeing it!
