Y2W31 Day 5

AM:
22 min weight lifting leg press/bench press
30 min elliptical machine

I called in today to give me some time to take care of a few things. It is rough since I have no paid time off but I really needed a day. I took care of a few things and then went on a 30 minute bike ride through the neighborhood. I took it easy since it was 88 degrees and high humidity.

I did not feel like going to the gym in the afternoon but knew my bike ride was not enough activity so I brought my exercise bike into the house and pedalled for 30 minutes while I watched TV. The time flew by and I got the extra activity I needed.

For dinner I went with Middle eastern. I really wanted chicken haleem but they did not have it. I had a vegitarian platter instead. It was chick peas, spinach and yellow lentils with rice. It was good, but it was no chicken haleem. I will have to go back on Sunday for lunch so I can have some.

I did get some extra rest today and I hope I will feel great tomorrow. The weather is calling for rain so I might need to do some indoor activities like going to the range. Let’s see what tomorrow brings.
