Today was a day of rest for me. I was up at 4am and to the gym early. I was having problems with my left knee and ended the workout early. Once home I enjoyed breakfast and TV. My wife had some shopping to do so I rested at home with the kitties.

The cats are great. they both want to be on me when I am trying to take a nap. They were tired from a tough week at home as well and even slept together after I got up.

Dinner tonight was middle eastern. We went with Kabobs. Dinner was great.

Today was a documentation day at work. It was a boring day. Not much going on and I was bored. It is OK I don’t have days like this all the time but what can you do. Some days are just like this.

So today was a day off. The weather was bad and some surrounding areas did get 12 inches. We only had about 6 to 8 inches that started to melt as the day went on and the rain came. The snow came back later in the evening so we might be in for a treat in the morning again. I don’t know if I am working or not tomorrow. It will be a surprise. Since I made it to the gym in the bad weather I expect I will be fine getting into work tomorrow.

Y4W2 Day 3

This morning there was some excitement in my neighborhood. I saw the deer again walking down our side street. Again my first reaction was I thought someone was creeping around some cars parked on the street. So after that I headed to the gym. On the was I noticed what looked like 2 drunk or 2 homeless folks sitting out in front of the CVS. Weird since I never saw them before. I get to the gym and park on the street as normal then I see a guy kind of walking in circles at the light /cross walk. He is looking a little erratic so I stay in my truck to watch him. He crosses the street to the same side I am on and looks like he is going to head across the main street towards the diner. I take the key out of my ignition (and the interior light comes on) and watch him. He starts walking in circles again and sees I am sitting in my truck. No he decides he needs to move towards me. I end up putting the key in the ignition and driving around the block to access the underground parking for the gym. Dude was off his meds. I don’t know if he was just looking to beg or something worse but I did not give him the chance.

Work was uneventful. We did demo work and the day flew by. My coworker still has not replaced his truck yet so he was still fussing with his girlfriend on what they needed to buy. Crazy does not even begin to describe him and the situation.

So we are on the edge of the storm. It should start coming down any minute now. We could get a dusting or it could be like the news is saying, 6-12 inches. No matter what we are good. My wife stayed at the hospital tonight and I have gas for the generator if we lose power. We are ready.

Here comes the storm! Woohoo! Snow-pocalypse is on the way. We could get anywhere from about 2 inches up to 8 inches. Or we could get nothing. Or even more than nothing!

Work today was a regular day. I worked hard when I needed to then slowed it down some because my body was sore from all the up and down off the ground. It is a good workout. I have also made it a point to take the stairs multiple times a day. I may not notice when it is getting easier, but it will be at some point.

Today was colder than yesterday but we still headed out to have fun. We biked where we walked yesterday and it was less than ideal. There were many water crossings requiring us to dimount and walk the bikes through the water. I had a separate problem as well. I did an insane amount of leg exercises today and my leg muscles are shot. No energy and no power in them. I feel really sore and am worried how I might feel tomorrow. Oh well, it is good to push yourself to your limits, that way you know where they are.

Today was was a pretty good day. the weather was above freezing even though it was cold. My Honey is on call so we had to limit where we went off on adventures. We went to Holmes Run. It is an OK place to go. We have been there a few times and have enjoyed it each time. There is a nature center there as well. Today was walk your dog day in that area. Not really, but it seemed that way since so many folks were out wanking their dogs. We also saw ducks today! that was unexpected. The water was frozen mostly, but they found some open water and looked happy.

For dinner tonight I made us some pizza. I bought a Boboli wheat pizza crust, and used some jarred sauce, covered with shredded 3 cheese Italian blend, and topped the pizza with turkey sausage, onion, mushroom and pepper. We both really enjoyed it and it was a quick meal to made and to bake.

Today was a slower day at work. It was a documentation day. It was a planning day. It was a boring day. On the plus side I had to go back to my Doctor’s office for a follow up and go over my blood labs. All is good in the hood! My blood pressure was much lower than the last visit and she does not need me to be medicated! Woohoo! I new it was nerves. Also my Lab work came back all in the proper zones for everything. I think the Doc was surprised that I am eating healthy like that. So I am good for 3 months and will check back in again. Since I found my “next” motivation I am sure it will be good then too. My Honey Bunny is on call so we have to limit where we go and what we do this weekend. That is OK I am sure we will find plenty of local places to hike, or even neighborhood walks.

Off-site day! Today was OK. Work flowed and there were no issues so life was good. I am extremely tired though since I did not get my cup of tea this AM since I was off-site. Yes the weekend is almost here! I am looking forward to one day of sleeping in late. I feel like I need it. I started to feel like I was getting a cold and rest always helps.
