Another busy day with more work piled on. My co-worker is on vacation Mon and Tues so we got to hustle to get his project completed tomorrow so I don’t have to work it by myself besides my own work load.

Work was another crazy and active day. That is OK , it is work after all. The weight lifting I have been doing is working my muscles. I can feel it in my arms, shoulders and back as I work through out the day. A few more weeks of this and I should be closer to normal weight workouts that I used to do.

Today was another busy day. I worked and worked and worked. Time flies by which is great but I end up feeling sore. I did at least pedal for 30 minutes once I got home after shopping. It is not a lot but it is an extra activity.

Today was tougher day of work. We are getting swamped and the activity is good but the demands are not. There will be added pressure because my co-worker is taking off this coming Monday and Tuesday. I hope we get a lot done this week!

Y3W22 Day 7

Another hike!

So we headed back out to the same park as yesterday. We set out for the longer trail section first and along the way had one of the best sightings in years! No not Bigfoot or aliens, We saw a large owl in the wild! We also saw tons of dragonflies, frogs and fish. There were even some deer in the woods, but the owl was the best. We covered a little over 5.5 miles in 2.5 hours. Not fast, but we sure enjoyed the what we saw along the way.

Here are the pix from today. I hope the owl can be seen as well as the dragonflies. We also saw many large and small woodpeckers but they were not keeping still enough for me to get a good picture of them.

Y3W22 Day 6

AM:
a new location hike!

SO we headed out to Seneca Park for a great day of hiking. This was a new destination not far from one we have been at many times before. The trails were very private and we did not see another person for most of our time on the trails. We spent time walking along the water, as well as climbing the hills on the trails in different locations. It was an incredible find.

So we saw some horses, frogs, fish, dogs, a slug, a deer and a SNAKE! what a day.

Y3W22 Day 5

Today I woke up sore. I skipped doing the dumbbell workout. I know I will benefit from doing it but sometimes your body lets you know when to take a break and today was that day. Tomorrow will be filled with fun and adventure. I don’t know where or when but it will be fun!

Y3W22 Day 4 4th of July!

2.5 hour 5.5mile hike

PM:
70 min neighborhood walk

Today was action packed! I went to the gym, hiked for hours and went out for a neighborhood stroll with my Honey Bunny! It was hot today, really hot so it was good to exercise then get back to the house. While hiking today the ground was very moist and muddy in places from the rains yesterday. While watching where we stepped we started seeing frogs (or maybe toads). There were some that were brown, some green and some in between. Some were a little bigger than my thumb while others were tiny like my pinky nail. It was a hoot to see so many of them.

Work today was OK. My co-worker left early because his tooth hurt. I had work to do and worked my pace. Life was good. I did some shopping and relaxed at home. My wife returned to work and had an interesting day. She worked as best she could doing what she could. She was happy to be home and so was I! Tomorrow is the 4th of July!

I worked a normal day today. I did some patching work and some documentation work. Time passed OK for me and I am looking forward to hitting the gym in the AM. My wife got great news and can return to work tomorrow! WOOHOO for us both!
