Week 47 Day 2

Back in the gym!

So today it was back to the routine. I got up and went to the gym. I jogged 2 miles and got on the elliptical machine for 40 minutes. I broke a sweat and felt pretty good. I went about my day and did NOT take a nap. That was surprising.

It was time for my afternoon workout and I head to the gym again. I did some easy lifting for a while then did 20 minutes of cardio as a bonus. For the weights I did assisted weight pull ups, incline bench presses and leg presses. My back has been sore and I am still feeling a bit weak from the cold/flu/ebola that has been kicking my ass. I expect it will take another week to feel normal again. I look forward to it.

My meals have been brutal the last few days combined with no working out. Tonight I made a stir fry with shrimp and ramen noodles to help balance things out. It was good!
