Y2W17 Day 5

I over did it yesterday with the squats!  I new I did as soon as I started feeling sore doing the squats.  That is just how it is sometimes.  My plan was to get up early and jog 6 miles today to push myself.  I just was not meant to be.  My leg muscles we screaming so I headed to the gym.  I did the lower body elliptical machine for 40 minutes then the bike for 15 minutes.  It was enough.

I worked my day today and we were busy at a crazy pace most of the day.  We got done what was needing to be done.  I really was noticing how much my leg muscles were sore every time I got up or sat down.  I needed to take more Advil at work.  I skipped the PM workout today.  I would not be able to push it and I did not want to strain things any worse.  On the way home from work I stopped by and picked up some middle eastern takeout.  I bought a veggie platter to go with the chicken my wife baked last night.  It was good!  I hope to feel better tomorrow, but either way I will be hitting the gym!
