Y2W21 Day 2

Today was a good day!  We started our day with a 4.23 mile jog.  We had some hills and some flats and we did well.  I felt good and energized most of the day.  I did not even try to go back to bed after the run which is something I had not done in a while.

I rode my scooter to work today which was great.  Of course the ride is only a few miles so it was not epic in any way, but I really did enjoy the felt of riding again.  I was considering pedaling in but was worried my knees might bother me after the run so the scooter was a no brainer!

Once home after work I did a garage weight lifting session.  I did 4 sets of body weight squats and 2 sets of weighted squats.  My knees were not loving it so I chose to body weight only squats for 4 sets in stead of just a warm up set.  From there I did 4 sets of over head chest presses and 3 sets of curls with the E-Z-Bar.  Next came the cargo net.  I climbed the net twice and really felt the burning in my forearms and triceps.  I called it a day and my wife got home and wanted to climb the net too so I ended up doing 2 more climbs.  Wow it felt good!

So who knows what tomorrow will bring, but I am ready for it!
