What a workout! I was harnessing the annoyance I had at my coworker. Today was a Federal Holiday and Inauguration day. I planned to be off today. Our immediate boss said it was OK to work today but there was no premium pay so I passed. I will not get paid since I do not have it as a benefit, but I still was happier to be off. My coworker has been bitching that he is short on money. His girl is sick at home and missed 3 days of work at the bar so she missed out on about 500 dollars. He has been whining about money being tight. It is always tight for him since they do not budget money well and come up short for bills regularly. Anyway my coworker asked to work and was going to come in. What does he do? He calls into work and says he can’t make it because he was sick. Not a big deal normally, but since I was off to we had no coverage for the day. That is bad. Especially since we discussed him being there and what work he was going to do. Knucklehead! So him doing that made me mad since it makes us look bad and I harnessed that to lift better today. At least something good came from it.

Dinner tonight was Swedish meatballs with noodles. It was a pleasant change from our normal meals.
