I changed up my breakfast this AM and had some peanut butter on an english muffin and some hard boiled eggs. Turns out the peanut butter did not agree with me. I got so gassy, I was creating bouquets of roses and lilies. My co-worker was being chocked as was I. It was bad. So bad I went straight home and exercised there.

I found another lead for a suburban. I emailed looking for additional information.I hope to hear back tomorrow with some positive news.

Today was a slack day at work. The GOV was off so no one was there other that security, maintenance guys and a handful of engineers. Before we left for the day it began to snow. We have had over an inch fall so far and if it keeps up I might be off tomorrow from the weather. We could get 10 to 12 inches or as little as 4 inches. I’ll take the day off if it is an option.

Y5W2 Day 7

Today was the day of couch. It was about 12 degrees and windy out so there was no going anywhere. I did make it to the gym in the morning but once home there was no leaving. My wife stayed in her pajamas all day. I took a nap after the gym for an hour. I then got up moved to the couch and fell asleep. I was out for about another hour. My better half mentioned I was snoring really loud. She let me sleep though so that was cool. I hope I will be able to sleep tonight.

Y5W2 Day 6

Auction day! We got up early and headed to Maryland for an auto auction. We got there just as they opened made a 500.00 deposit and walked the yard checking out the vehicles. If I was just out looking for a car, any car, I would have found something to meet my needs. That is not my situation though, I am looking for a Chevy Suburban. They had 5 on the lot. One was too old and one was too new. the other 3 were in the range I was looking for, but they each were lacking in some areas. There was a slight funk in the one, the other had the seats cracked and torn with the carpet worn bare in spots and the other had rust and side doors that did not close well indicating an accident. So we headed home and took a nap then decided to go see the Princess Bride at the Arlington Cinema and Draft House. It was cool seeing it on the big screen. Later at night we had a freak storm hit. Wind gusts 20 to 50 miles an hour and snow in white out conditions. It only lasted for about 30 minutes before tapering off to a very light flurry, but it was something when it was going full blast. We have snow stuck to the side of trees because of the wind forcing the snow sideways. That was wild to see.

Today I was working our offsite location. I was busy! 3 work orders, delivered something to site then had to mark up some drawings. I was there later than I wanted to be and ended up not returning to the office since I skipped lunch and ran up to my 8 hour work day. Unfortunately once I got home I had lunch and skipped the gym. I am grateful the day was crazy active so I don’t feel horrible skipping the PM workout.

Today was an OK day. I prepped my stuff for offsite work. I have 3 tasks to do and time could become an issue. I don’t expect to make it back to the office tomorrow.

On a fun note, I found a military surplus truck for 4,500. it is a 5 ton truck. That is big enough to roll over anything. We could fit on hell of a camper on the body of that thing.
