Yeah! I had a horrible night of sleep. We had storms roll in and I was tossing and turning all night plus I got up 3 times to pee, way too much fluids yesterday evening. I am hoping for a good night of sleep tonight. Work went well.

It finally happened. I got a grade lower than 100 in my class. I only got a 93 on my last quiz. My GPA is shot now. I am only averaging 99.53 for the class instead of an even 100. Tomorrow is a new day!

Nothing spectacular today, I exercised, grocery shopped, did a really short hike with the wife then school work today.

Y4W26 Day 6

AM:
36 min dumbbell routine
3 rounds of 10 reps 35 lbs
1 round or 10 reps 25 lbs

2 hour hike

I slept in until 8:15 this morning. I can’t remember the last time i slept in like that. The weather held and we had a wonderful time going for a hike. I also have more good news school-wise, I picked up a few more 100’s! It is a good day!

On the hike we saw woodpeckers, fish, a tiny frog, and mushrooms of all different sizes and shapes. Today was a winner all around.

Y4W26 Day 5

I woke up in a funk today! I was not feeling good enough to do the dumbbell routine so I just split my time between 2 cardio machines. In the afternoon I had a haircut prior to the gym so I only did 30 minutes in the afternoon. This weekend is going to be rainy so there maybe some target shooting in our futures.

Y4W26 Day 4

The gym was closed this morning because of more electrical work in the neighboring space!!!!!! So I worked out at home.

AM:
1 round of 10 reps with 35lb dumbbell routine
4 round of 10 reps with 25lb dumbbell routine

25 min bike

Bonus:
18 min bike ride into work

PM:
18 min biked home
25 min bike

Today was a good day, I was busy at work and felt energized even though my workout routine was interrupted. I over did it yesterday by doing 5 rounds of the routine with the 35lb dumbbells. I would have just done the 30lb ones today but the gym was closed. I only have 25 and 35lb ones at the house so I needed to go lighter than planned. The extra weight makes a difference. I finished the routine in 36 minutes compared to 43 minutes yesterday. less breaks between exercises when I am going light.

AM:
43 min 5 rounds of 10 reps with 35 lb dumbbells

on my last 2 rounds of overhead presses I only did 5 reps each. At the end of the routine I did 2 sets of 5 reps to make up for missing the ten count during the routine. 35 lbs is tough!(right now)

48 min elliptical machine

today at work I was busy for half the day. I did the stairs a few times today and it is now my norm to go to a different floor to use the bathroom. I an interested to see how this goes.

I took the stairs a lot today at work. I counted 5 different trips up and down total. Add that to my bonus bike ride and things are looking good! I am still keeping up with my schoolwork. I just started week 5 and turned in 2 assignments due tonight. It is really tough typing so many things.

So last night I had some peanut butter as a snack. It did not sit well in my stomach. I was gassy and cramped up and had a terrible night of sleep. I am looking forward to a better night tonight. I did make lentils to go with dinner so I still might be experiencing a disturbance in the force tomorrow, time will tell.

Y4W25 Day 7

Today was a good day. We enjoyed 2 short bike rides with a 50 min hike in the middle. I bumped into a friend working at the local marina and caught up for a few minutes. I did OK with school work also so I feel good.

Y4W25 Day 6

AM:
50 min elliptical machine

Today my better half had to work. I had the day to myself, oh what trouble I could get in. The Gun show was in town so there was a possibility of finding the next one to add to the collection or I could just go to the range since it will be less people there with the show in town. But I was good. I took a nap instead and protected my wallet by just working on school work instead. Once my wife got home we eventually headed out to eat for dinner. It was nice, we have not been out in a while.

So to sum up, I worked out, napped, got schoolwork done, saved money by not going to the show, spent money by going out to dinner.
