Week 40 Day 7

Even more hiking!

So today the wife and I decide we are heading back to the the Billy Goat trails and decide we are going to hike the “B” and “C” trails.  So we did.  Both of these were less demanding that the “A” trail.  The amazing thing was we did both trails and walked the tow path to and from the truck covering 5.92 miles in 2 hours and 15 minutes.  That was way  faster than we thought possible.We now set a goal to do the “A” and “B” trails in the same day.

I guess the hiking yesterday was really good for me.  I feel like I might have pulled a muscle in my chest from the reaching and pulling myself up on some of the rocks.  Also the cut on my back feels irritated, I guess from the backpack causing my shirt to rub it while hiking.   Both of my knees were sore like I had jogged 5 miles.  I worked my whole body this weekend without lifting any weights!

You have got to like that!

EDIT:  I forgot to show dinner,  here it is, a nacho platter with ground beef, peach salasa, black beans, shredded low fat cheese and light sour cream, topped with lettuce.
