Week 52 Day 1

Here it is my last week in my first year!  I started the week poorly.  I had a big Chinese food pig out on Saturday and I ate  a big (but healthy) dinner yesterday.I started today heavy, way too heavy.

All was not lost, even after eating breakfast AND lunch I was lighter than this after my PM workout.

That is 1.4 pounds down in less than a day.

AM:
20 min 2 mile jog
40 min elliptical machine

PM:
20 min 2 mile jog
30 min elliptical machine

After seeing I was heavy this am I still enjoyed a big breakfast.  I had 4 egg whites, 1 whole egg, turkey sausage, mushrooms, onion, baby spinach,  jalapeno peppers and a slice of American cheese scrambled together.

I latter had chicken breast with stir fry veggies that was a leftover from dinner and my leftover chicken soup.  Maybe this was slightly larger than I needed, I sure did enjoy it though.  Time flew by and it was dinner time after my PM workout.  I cooked some chicken breasts in a pan and made tortilla wraps for dinner.  I added lettuce to one and baby spinach leaves to the other.  I spread some Tzatziki yogurt sauce (more like a spread or dip) on both of them.  It was home run!

Today something wonderful happened, Daisy was on cuteness overload!  She curled up on the bed for a nap and curled under the blanket end that was doubled over.  I never saw her do this before.  

She also did something that brought tears of laughter to my eyes.  It is something my and my parent’s dogs have done on occasion.

Daisy did not stop being cute there either, after my wife cleaned the cling-ons from her butt, she decided to join us on the couch.  Daisy does not usually do that so today was really cool that she did.  

She often has laser-beam eyes, so I took another one when she was not looking.  

What a great way to spend the day!
