Week 52 Day 5

Today the momentum has shifted.  I thought I would see another pound or so down.  It did not happen.  That is OK I had sweat out a few pounds today.  I jogged 5.5 miles in 60 minutes.  I feel pretty good about that.  

I had not been able to do it last week since I had a bad night of sleep.  I guess things were going my way this week since I did have a good night sleep.  Here is where I was out after jogging for an hour.

The rest of my day was pretty normal.  My afternoon workout was a decent one.  I worked out on the elliptical machine for 60 minutes.  It was a fair sweat and my leg muscles did feel worked.  I should have jogged a mile first to really get the sweat going.

I had a wild and crazy idea for dinner.  I decided to make a ground beef dish (it was supposed to be ground lamb but the store was sold out!)  I cooked some chopped cabbage, shredded carrot, baby spinach and red pepper together then set it aside.  I next browned the ground beef with onion and diced chick peas all mixed together.  I seasoned it with lots of garlic powder, cumin, paprika, chili power, black pepper, salt and chicken base.  I added some water to the frying pan and kept a lid on it to keep all the flavor in!  I then took some full cabbage leaves and set them on top of the ground beef mix and put the lid back on so the food would steam the cabbage leaves.  Then I took them out, added the veggie mix in with the meat mixed it all together and served the meet mix in the cabbage leaves as a wrap!  it was incredible!

With 2 days left I do not think I am going to make it to 254lbs.  I am going to still try hard and eat well  but I may miss my goal time again.  I WILL DO IT (eventually)!
