Today we did a killer jog 1.2 miles up hill followed by the jog back down,  It killed us!   Eating was bad today but that was expected.  It was fun and I will be getting back to it once home.

Y2W16 Day 6

WOW what a day! It is always great to visit with family, but the eating, lack of exercise and laziness that comes over me sux! Today’s big exercise was a 35 minute walk. Tomorrow I hope to get a jog in to feel closer to normal.

20 min dumbbell aerobics
30 min elliptical machine

30 min stair machine (damn did I sweat!)

today was another pretty good day. My workouts were good, work was good and dinner was great! Mt wife put together a dish with some leftover chicken, harvest grains mix and some fruit. WOW is all I can say.

Y2W16 Day 3

Another quick one today!

AM:
20 min stair machine
10 min walking at incline
20 min elliptical machine
10 min bike

I worked well today and at times I was really tired and drained. So much so I skipped my PM workout. It did not help that the rain was pouring down with thunder. I will be in bed soon and will be getting more sleep so all is good for tomorrow.

Dinner was great tonight, Filet mignon, broccoli, mushrooms, pepper and onions, YUM!

Y2W16 Day 2

Woohoo, Day 2! of the week that is.

AM:
30 min stair climbing machine
25 min elliptical machine

PM:
5 sets Over head press
7 sets leg press
6 sets ez-bar curls

The stair climbing machine is intense! I really sweat on that one. I think I sweat as much on that as I do jogging. I have not been getting enough sleep lately so today’s journal entry will be a short one.

Y2W16 Day 1

Something new!

Today I decided to try something new in the gym.  I tried the real Stair step machine.  The one with the actual moving steps.  That one sure is tough!  I broke a great sweat on that for 20 minutes and also did 40 minutes on the elliptical machine.  Wow was I worked.

I made it through the day and and did another 45 minutes on the elliptical machine once I returned to the gym.  I did the time but did not eat well today.  I was way over on calories.  I really need to tighten up or I will not even be maintaining my current weight!  That’s it, time to get in the groove again.

I was bad today.  I only worked out one in the morning for 45 minutes.  The rest of the day was Diablo 3, TV and a nap.  The sad thing is I don’t even feel rested…

Tomorrow starts a new week and I will be back at it twice a day.  Mt wife did a “Warrior Dash” today.  She was beat

Y2W15 Day 5

Happy Friday!

Today was a day off from work so I could handle some things around the house.   I still got up early and jogged with my wife,  showered then went back to bed.  I was up again at 7:15 am and began rearranging furniture in our computer room.   Our computer room is scary.  It looks like hoarders have been using it for storage,  I had to slide things one way so I could move something else another way.  I spent hours getting things where they need to be.  After that chore I needed to go back to the computer store to exchange a faulty power supply in my new computer.  It was working OK but once it heated up the fan was making a rubbing noise so it was best to replace it now.  That turned into hours between the driving, construction!!!!, and swapping out the unit and getting home.  Once home though I was able to get online and fire up Diablo 3.  The game rocks.   Some aspects of the game are not as good as Diablo 2 like individual character development with skill points foe strength, dexterity, etc.  Diablo 3 does not have that extra customization so you are not really building your own character as much as you are playing a character.  The other thing not so great is you need to be logged into their servers for single play as well as co-op play.  That may not sound like a big deal but take tonight for instance,  I was ready to play into the late evening but I got an instant message 5 minute warning letting me know the servers were going to be taken down for an hour for maintenance.  Well I did not want to stop playing then.  If I could play the game local on my machine it would not have affected me.  Oh Well,  what can you do,  you got to play the cards you were dealt.

Oh I forgot to mention, when my wife got home we decided to walk to a local resturaunt for dinner.  From there we walked to the Baskin robins for some desert.  Hey atleast we walked 2.2 miles.
