Y2W14 Day 1

Monday!

Wow did I do bad things this weekend.  I missed 2 afternoon workouts, I ate at a Chinese restaurant buffet,  plus I had a Wendy’s combo meal.  On top of all that I made a Mexican meal with lots of black beans.  The things I did and smells I created were criminal!

Today some what followed in those foot prints.  I had a really good morning workout on the elliptical machine (I had to stop after 22 minutes for a bathroom break to do more bad things) and got in 52 minutes of exercise.  I worked my day and then skipped my PM workout so I could go and pick up my new computer.  Traffic was terrible and we did not get home until 7:45 pm and then had dinner.  We watched a TV show and I ran out of time for setting up my new machine.  There is always tomorrow…

Y2W13 Day 7

Today was an off day.  I did get in the gym and get 30 minutes in on the exercise bike but that was it for me for the day.  I messed around with the computer some and then brought it back to the place for the Pros to take care of it.

My amazing wife met her goal and did something truly amazing this weekend.  She walked the Avon Walk for the cure and walked 26.2 miles on Saturday and then 13.1 miles today!  She is amazing!  and she is all mine!

Y2W13 Day 6

Today I met with a personal trainer at my new gym.  I was assessed for my goals and he had me doing a few exercises circuit style.  It was pretty interesting, I broke a sweat and though I did not do a whole lot I felt like I did a lot.  It was good.

Today I had the pleasure of spending the day with my brother-in-law.  We tried to build a computer together and did pretty good except we could not get the darn thing working.  So tomorrow will be off to the shop to have them finish up.  So close, but so far…

Y2W13 Day 5

Today started great, I jogged 6 miles in 67 minutes.  I worked my day but when it was time to get off I was done.  I had no energy to go to the gym so I headed home and rested on the couch.  Tomorrow morning I am hitting the gym early for a personal trainer session that is free with my new gym membership.  I am sure it is a ploy for them to try to sell me personal training sessions but I need to do it if I want to be able to cancel my membership at any time during the time I prepaid for and get money back.  I hope I can get something out of it.

Y2W13 Day 4

A short update:

today was an OK day, I did well at the gym and did fair with my eating today.  I am multitasking with searching for the right gaming computer and need more time in the day to find it!

AM:

50 min elliptical machine

 

PM:

40 min elliptical machine

My wife made us a kick ass pizza for dinner!  I love my wife!

Y2W13 Day 3

What a day!  We started with a 3 mile jog and I felt great afterwards.  So good I went to the gym and did another 30 minutes on the elliptical machine!

Work went well and I tried something different,  I packed some tuna pasta salad to eat at my snack times. I have been eating some special K snack bars which are low in calories, but are low in protein.  I am going to try feeding my muscles more protein throughout the day and see if that will have me feeling better.  Nothing else going on or worth reporting,  so see you tomorrow!

Y2W13 Day 2

So it looks like there will be some Diablo 3 in my future!   The PC is on order not I got to order the game.  I don’t know how I am going to find time to play, but oh yes, I WILL PLAY!

AM:
10 min jog
40 min elliptical machine

1 mile walk to/from work/car

PM: 32 min of aerobics

Today was a pretty good day. I felt good and my exercise felt right. I ate well and made an incredible dinner. We had chicken breast, whole wheat pasta, spinach, cherry tomatoes and Parmesan cheese. It was great. I melted some fake butter in the pan with the pasta and veggies to be the sauce since the Alfredo sauce had expired.

Today was a slow start to the week. I felt OK working out but not incredible. I hope tomorrow I can be more in the zone.

Y2W12 Day 7

So we took a little walk…

Today was all about helping my wife get some walking in.  We went out for a 3.5 hour walk covering more than 10 miles.  Here is the crazy part, she went out and walked more!  She totalled over 22 miles!  Insane!

We had a great steak dinner with mushrooms, onion, pepper and corn on the cob!

Y2W12 Day 6

AM:
10 min walk to gym
10 min jog
35 min elliptical machine
10 min walk home
30 min walk to pick up my truck at the service center

PM:
17 min walk with the wife, it started to rain on us!

Today was a fun day. My wife was off on a flee market and yard sale adventure with the gals from work and I had the morning to myself. After the gym I went to the range and finally got to try out my new Kel-tec PF-9. It is a handful compared to the P32. I can’t really rapid fire the thing and like the smaller .32acp this thing is not a long range target pistol. It works well for what it is designed for. It is a keeper.

My diet was pretty good all day but I am getting ready to blow it tonight watching some fights with my neighbor. I will be enjoying a few beers and some snacks. Oh well there is always tomorrow.
