Today was the coldest day we have had in a very long time. It was 20 degrees and windy. I wore my bank robber ski mask with my sweatshirt hood up AND my wind breaker hood up on my half mile walk to work. Even after work on the walk back to my car it was crazy cold. It had warmed up to a freezing 26 degrees, and still windy!

What a workout! I was harnessing the annoyance I had at my coworker. Today was a Federal Holiday and Inauguration day. I planned to be off today. Our immediate boss said it was OK to work today but there was no premium pay so I passed. I will not get paid since I do not have it as a benefit, but I still was happier to be off. My coworker has been bitching that he is short on money. His girl is sick at home and missed 3 days of work at the bar so she missed out on about 500 dollars. He has been whining about money being tight. It is always tight for him since they do not budget money well and come up short for bills regularly. Anyway my coworker asked to work and was going to come in. What does he do? He calls into work and says he can’t make it because he was sick. Not a big deal normally, but since I was off to we had no coverage for the day. That is bad. Especially since we discussed him being there and what work he was going to do. Knucklehead! So him doing that made me mad since it makes us look bad and I harnessed that to lift better today. At least something good came from it.

Dinner tonight was Swedish meatballs with noodles. It was a pleasant change from our normal meals.

We went for a hike!

For dinner my wife made us an amazing pizza from scratch. It was delicious! The smoke detector went off and continued to beep for hours after the meal. We laughed and laughed all night.

We had a great hike. My wife spotted a bald eagle! We also saw a woodpecker and some seagulls. The birds were out today.

For dinner tonight we baked some lamb with carrots,garlic and onions and served it with lentils. Tonight is going to be a gassy one!

Today was another good day. Not too exciting, not too boring. I spent my time after work grocery shopping and I made eggplant lasagna for dinner. The house smelled so good with it baking in the oven.

Y2W50 Day 4

We went for a run!

Once we got to the house I got on the exercise bike for another 26 minutes. This was a good workout.

PM:
30 min bike

My afternoon workout I choose the bike again so I could catch up on some TV. I could have done more if I went to the gym but I wanted to catch up with some shows so home workout it was.

Dinner tonight was good. I cooked some chicken and also made a veggie stir-fry.

Today was a cold rainy day. There was no jogging to be had outside, that was for sure. Work was an easy day and I feel more tired than when I am busy at work, Weird. Of course I did not have a great night of sleep last night , or enough of it so I see I could be off my game today for more than one reason.

Tonight was a fun dinner night. I made chili mac! I have not done that in forever!

Today was an OK day. My morning workout was amazing. I really felt the burn. My PM workout was weak, but I needed to go grocery shopping and I also needed to renew my web site registrations and domain hosting so today was an off day. I did make a kick ass dinner. Salmon, cooked carrots and cooked spinach. Good stuff.

Today was supposed to be a warm nice day. It turned out to be a chilly, foggy, rainy day. We were lucky we took full advantage of yesterday because today was not the great day we were planning for. We did go do some shopping and check out some cell phone plans. Other than that it was a quiet day on the couch watching movies and TV.
